He sets out on a journey to find his father's bones lost in the Sahara Desert and to discover the hidden city of Ophir filled with mysterious treasures written in the diaries. For this, he travels to Africa, specifically to Timbuktu.
His goal is to go from a place in the Sahara Desert that no one has ever thought of passing through. For this purpose, his path intersects with Joe January (John Wayne), a guide who knows the Sahara Desert like the back of his hand. Of course, there will be one more person joining the team later on.
