While on a back-to-school shopping trip, Henry and his mother encounter Frank Chambers, a both intimidating and vulnerable man in need of help. Soon, it is revealed that Frank is a fugitive, but he manages to convince the mother and son to let him join them. The events that unfold over the long weekend of Labor Day will shape the rest of their lives.
